  • The deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to another course should you have to cancel.

Learning can begin online once you have fully registered and paid. Our new interactive On-Line Campus with videos and drone footage ensures you have the classroom theory and know vocabulary prior to arrival. Quiz and practice exams online. Learn at your own speed and then have full time during course to commit to the practical on water sessions.

Additional certifications & memberships

Learning can begin online once registration and payment are completed, with our new interactive Online Campus. The videos and drone footage ensure classroom theory has been learned prior to arrival for the start of the course. Quizzes and practice exams will be available online. Learn at your own speed and then have max time during the course to commit to the practical on-water sessions. Leadership development, surf landings, paddling in swell and swift water rescues are just a few areas covered. Practical and written exams are completed at the end of this course. We have been teaching this course for 25 years, the longest in the industry.

* All Guides Courses are SKGABC endorsed and once all certification requirements have been attained, will allow guides to work in British Columbia.

SKGABC Membership

Membership in the Sea Kayaking Guides Association of B.C. is required. Fees are to be paid to SKGABC directly, prior to course.
